Laser printers are such essential pieces of office equipment that they do get taken for granted. It is highly frustrating when they fail. So, to keep your laser printer running smoothly and preserve your sanity follow our three simple steps:-
- Always use new, dry paper that meets the specifications of the printer. Colour laser printers in particular can need higher quality paper
- Always fan the leading edge of the paper when you load it in the cassette. This helps the printer pick up just one sheet at a time
- Use good quality cartridges and other consumables, ideally from the original manufacturer
