Word goes online

If you're just getting your head round the ''new'' Microsoft Word, Excel and Powerpoint - known as Office 2007 - don't worry, you've got at least a year till the next version appears.

It's currently known by the codename Office 14 and is due to be released in late 2009 or early 2010. It’s likely that the new software will have cut down online versions, which will be designed to be used when you are out of the office on the internet. Word and Excel can already be used on mobile devices to view and edit documents.
