When you choose ASAP to repair your faulty
IT equipment you can be sure you've made the right decision. We've been around
since 1989 and have an excellent reputation both locally and nationally. Most
of our customers come to us by recommendation from existing customers and
we
will always provide you with a solution. We see our local customers as very
important and you can depend on us to solve your problem.
Every item we receive for repair is booked
onto our own tracking database along with all your details so your faulty item
is kept safe and labelled as yours from the moment it arrives with us. A simple
form is completed by all customers when the unit arrives so you can tell us
what's wrong with it. If you have used us before we'll already have your
contact details on our database so all we need are the details of the repair
item and work needed.
If you need to talk to us while your
equipment is with us we'll give you a simple reference number to quote so we can
get to your details quickly. Because our repairs are done by our own in-house
engineers not sub-contracted to a third party, we can give you accurate
up-to-the minute information about your repair and you'll know
where your valuable equipment is at all times...with us here!

If getting your faulty equipment to us is a
problem don't worry, we can arrange for a collection or an engineer can come to
you; please see our On-Site Service section for details.
For complete system repairs we operate a
quote first system where an initial assessment is made by an engineer. We will
contact you with a repair quote detailing the work needed and you can decide if
you want to proceed with the repair. At this stage you may consider your
alternatives; ASAP can provide new, ex-demo or second hand systems so if you're
interested in this alternative please ask us for a quote.
Our repair quotes are based on time and parts with our current labour rate charged at £55 per hour and most PC faults take
under 2 hours to repair.
If our standard 5 working day turn around is
not quick enough for you we also provide a Same-day, 24hr and
48hr
surcharged turn-around; handy when your laptop fails the day before a
presentation!
We will not ask you to pay for work which you
have not previously authorised so there will be no nasty surprises when you come
to collect your repaired item. We don't ask for payment from you until the
repair is complete and ready for collection.
Where we already have an established fixed
price repair for items such as laser printers, display equipment or laptops it's
a very transparent system; you'll know the repair price before you bring the
item in for repair and this is the price we'll charge to repair it. Some
exclusions do apply to what the fixed price repair will cover and these are
explained on our terms and conditions page.
When your repair has been completed it is
cleaned, tested for electrical safety and warrantied for 90 days and we'll
contact you to let you know it's ready. You may prefer for the item to be
delivered back to you or even have the item installed on your site rather than
simply collect it from us. These are both services we can provide so please ask
us for details. As well as a great workshop we also have an experienced and
professional field service operation.
Our payment terms are BACS,
CHAPS, Paypal, cash or cheque on collection. We do not accept credit card
payments.
